Reload is a Naruto fanfiction by Fosfor (aka Case13).
The story uses the Groundhog Day scenario, where the protagonists are reliving a period of time over and over again. In this case the protagonists of the titular 'reload' are Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke. At the beginning of the story they are starting another timeloop, having spent several decades living out scores, possibly hundreds of similar loops. Mentally adults (and extremely accomplished ninja) but accustomed to nothing they do having long term consequences, they decide to use this loop to have a vacation and arrange to be suspended as disciplinary action in order to visit a gambling resort and ramen festival, with the confused chunin Inuzuka Hana accompanying them. Unknown to the two of them however, the loops have ended, and from now on they will have to live with the consequences of their actions.
The characterisation of Naruto and Sasuke is extremely different from canon, as is their intimate relationship, as a result of the fact that they have had no continuing companionship except each other for decades. There are also occasional anecdotes as to their exploits in previous loops.
