Oliver and Company:The Series is an American animated comedy-drama TV series, based off the 1988 Disney film Oliver and Company. It first aired on ABC from June 6, 1997 to October 12, 2003. From November 14, 2006 to September 15, 2012 reruns of the series aired on Disney Cinemagic in the UK and Latin America, and from May 22, 2004 to December 9, 2006 on Disney Channel in Australia, France and India. In Canada, Turkey, Japan, the Netherlands and South Africa, reruns of the series aired on Disney XD from August 5, 2010 to October 22, 2012.
Plot[]
The series takes place after the events of Oliver and Company 2. Its episodes predominantly focus on the gang and their many adventures. Returning from the film are Charlie and Tess, Dodger's parents, while Fagin's younger brother, Jimmy, Fagin's younger brother, does not return, neither is he mentioned.

Protagonists
- Oliver (voiced by Jason Marsden)-The titular character; he is a young cat currently living with the Foxworth family.
- Dodger (voiced by Frank Welker, Tara Strong young and Sean Astin as a teenager)-The leader of a gang of dogs owned by Fagin and a street smart Jack Russell. He is the son of Charlie and Tess, and in one episode it is revealed how he met Fagin when he was young and in another, it's also revealed that the gang were initially untrustworthy towards him.
- Rita (voiced by Kath Soucie, Mary Kay Bergman young, later by Hayden Panettiere, and Cree Summer as a teenager)-A saluki who is another member of the gang.
- Francis (voiced by Roscoe Lee Browne, later replaced by Phil LaMarr, Nika Futterman as a puppy and Dee Bradley Baker as a teenager)-A bulldog and another member of the gang. He speaks with a British accent and has a taste for literature and the arts, particularly Shakespeare.
