Left 4 Dead 2: F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) is a planned fan film based on the Left 4 Dead 2 gameplay created under the creator's Steam id covenantslayer1 involving different characters from different franchises in situations set in the Left 4 Dead universe. The F.E.A.R. organization seen outside of its name is in no way related to the organization from the mainstream videogame series of the same name.

Set somewhere in an unknown location in the United States, the military sends the First Encounter Assault Recon to deal with high value missions and extraction of VIPs. Neptune from the Hyperdimension Neptunia universe is the youngest and newest (only a couple a weeks from Kairi from Kingdom Hearts) member of Beta squad with the Spy from Team Fortress 2 and the Master Chief from Halo. They are sent out after Alpha squad is overdue for check-in and Beta squad is sent into the infected area to find them. Neptune disagrees for the sudden mission and even does not want to be apart of it until she discovers her younger sister Nepgear is part of the missing squad.
