Levardis Robert Martyn "LeVar" Burton, Jr., is an American actor, presenter and author. His well-known roles include Kunta Kinte in the ABC miniseries Roots, Geordi La Forge in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Kwame in Captain Planet and The Planeteers, as well as hosting the PBS TV series Reading Rainbow.
He voiced local Haitian man Jean-Claude in The Quest for Beasts.
