Gerald Griffin is a Harry Potter-inspired fantasy story being written by Sean Bridges. It also carries elements of Magyk and the Leon series.

Gerald Griffin is a young boy, about 10 years old, who lives in a not-very-well-kept orphanage, when he gets a letter that reads:

Dear Gerald Griffin: I am pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into the Murphy Academy of Magic. Please come to 7 Williams Street within the next 10 days. Sincerely, Principal Edgar Powers

At first Gerald does not believe the letter, but he comes to the stated address anyway, believing he has nothing to lose. Once there, he meets a hippie girl named Lilac Radford and a kind-hearted nerd named Heyden Broadmore, who almost instantly become his friends. After that, similar to Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone.
