N is a mysterious trainer that wishes to separate Pokémon from humans. His full name is Natural Harmonia Gropius. N debuted in Pokémon Black and White, as the leader of Team Plasma, which wasn't confirmed until later in the game, yet he is good natured. Near the end of the main story plot, he saw the error of his ways. He sees Pokémon as friends and is able to communicate with them somehow. N is a math genius and has a high IQ. He is very quick-witted, as well as having extreme swings. It is rumored that N was born from Pokémon.

He was briefly mentioned as Jet was looking thru the profiles of Trudy's friend, Mary, and her cousins as he came across N. He wasn't involved in the Red Dragons war, but he met Lizzie as she began her journey; she convinced him that humans can work well with Pokémon and was proven to be a formidable warrior even against his abusive father. Later on, he met her half-sister, Beth, who seemed to have a close, nearly identical, resemblance to Lizzie. Since Beth proved she's just as skilled and heartfelt as her sibling, N gifted her his own Zoroark! He admired them both despite having their own treacherous father who cheated one mom to be with another. N's Zoroark was proven essential as he and the sisters joined the special forces and won!
