Jafar is a sorcerer from Agrabah who is one of Aladdin's foes. He was friends with Pete and Hades.
He is the Royal Vizier to the Sultan of Agrabah. He secretly desires to become the most powerful ruler in the world. He is accompanied by Iago, his red-feathered parrot. He is a narcissistic and evil person, and in every story, he is a villain.
Jafar also appeared as a guest at The House of Mouse.
Trivia[]
- It's most likely that the Animalities in Mortal Kombat, as well as the Dragon Fatality by Liu Kang, were inspired by Jafar churning into a cobra; as Aladdin was released before MKII and 3; another famous sorcerer, Shang Tsung, was also able to turn into a Cobra!
- It might also be likely that Shinnok can be based on Jafar since he has a similar design and concept.
