Venk Tanner is a teen who aspires to be a Ghost Hunter just like his late father. On his eighteenth birthday, a race known as the Shadow Corps arrive and begin their conquest of our world. To stop this ever-growing threat, he must gather fifteen Eye-Souls based on fifteen historical figures, otherwise darkness will envelop the newly restored world. Along his quest, he battles more of the Shadow monster race, who also seek the Eye-Souls for an unknown evil purpose. Vent must defeat the Shadows and at the same time, find a way to save himself from his own darkness.

Personality

Venk is a timid young man who at first was a bit nervous and scared when he became a superhero. His ability to make himself physically solid as a ghost was also hard to control as it depended on his emotional state and his emotions were in conflict due to his worrying and depression of his deceased state. Upon hearing that he only had 99 days to live, he felt he couldn't achieve his goal of obtaining the other Eye-Souls. He was a bit self-defeating at first due to a lack of confidence, but that would all change when he meets Dash Roberts.

Forms

Phantom Warrior's forms are called Spirit, accessed using the Phantom Eye-Souls. He also bears a headpiece called the Mask, which gives off a glow effect with the rest of his body. The Mask changes with Phantom Warrior's numerous Spirit forms, as well as serving as a prefix title for all of the Spirit forms' helms.

Differentiating himself from Kamen Rider Phantasm Fight, Phantom Warrior normally bears a singular Tendril Horn on his head in most of his Spirit forms, allowing him to use it either for perceiving and sensing Devils within a 5 km radius or as a weapon. When transforming into Fighting Booster Spirit, the Tendril Horn is upgraded into the Crimson Tendril Horn. While having the same detection range of the original Tendril Horn, the Crimson Tendril Horn has more piercing power. When transforming into Heroic Spirit, the Tendril Horn is upgraded into the Quantum Tendril Horn. Unlike its counterparts, while it doesn't appear to have an apparent range of effects in terms of Devils sensing, it does allow perfect communion with the Parka Phantoms Phantom Warrior summons through the Eye-Soul Driver P for attack flow and finishers. When transforming into Angelic Spirit, the Tendril Horn is upgraded into the Crystal Tendril Horn. Unlike it's original counterpart, while it doesn't appear to have an apparent range of effort in terms of Devils sensing, it does allow a perfect connection with the user's emotions for the attack flow and finisher.

By pulling and pushing the Phantom Driver's lever a second time after transforming, Ghost can activate an Fury Drive finishing attack tied to the Phantom Eye-Souls currently being used. If he pulls and pushes the lever four times, he can instead execute an Fury Omega special attack.

Blank

Blank is the default pre-form armor of Kamen Rider Phantom Warrior. Like most pre-forms in the Kamen Rider Series, it is weaker than all of the other forms and exists solely as a transition stage of the armor to any given Spirit form.

It is composed of Quantum Solid and is covered with orange Energy Vessels that emits light when dealing deathblows.

Phantom Spirit

Phantom Spirit is Phantom Warrior's default orange form. Accessed through the Phantom Eye-Soul, this form bears the (quickly discarded) Effector Hood, the Persona Pantheon helmet with the Face Pantheon faceplate.

After his revival back as a human, it is unknown how he is able to still transform into Phantom Spirit, since the Eye-Souls bonded with his soul when he was a ghost.

This Spirit has three finishing attacks.

• Phantom Driver Finisher:
  • Fury Drive (Phantom): A flying kick that uses spiritual energy which makes the body and mask of Phantom Warrior's form glow and envelops him in an orange flame.
    • Phantom Warrior performs a variation of the Fury Drive (Phantom) kick by first transforming into his normal Spirit forms (Swordman, Electro, Archer, Gravity, Music, Western, Warrior) and then his Phantom Spirit form and then channels his energy with the energy of his other Spirit forms into a powerful flying kick.
• Soul Gun Saber Finishers:
  • Fury Break: In Saber Mode, Phantom Warrior charges the blade with swirling orange energy before he presses the trigger on its handle to cleave through the target.
  • Fury Stream: In Double Blade Mode, Phantom Warrior charges each weapon's bladed end with swirling blue energy before he presses the trigger on its handle to rapidly slash the target with both blades.

Swordman Spirit

Accessed through the Swordsman Eye-Soul, this form bears the Persona Sword Master helmet with the Face Dual Wield faceplate.

While assuming Swordsman Spirit, Phantom Warrior dons the Twin Heavens Hood adorned with both the Instant Headband and Five Rings' Topknot Sword; he is also able to utilize his Soul Gun Saber in its Twin Sword Mode for Niten Ichi-ryū swordsmanship.

This Form has four finishers:

• Phantom Driver Finisher:
  • Fury Omega (Swordsman): Phantom Warrior manifests a giant version of Swordsman Eye-Soul and throw it at target.
• Soul Gun Saber Finishers:
  • Fury Slash: In Twin Sword Mode, Phantom Warrior batters the opponent with his weapon's blades as they charge up energy before he presses the trigger on its handle when he's in position to cut down the opponent to make the charge be expelled upon the last hit.
  • Fury Stream: In Double Blade Mode, Phantom Warrior charges each weapon's bladed end with swirling blue energy before he presses the trigger on its handle to rapidly slash the target with both blades.
• Phantom Driver + Soul Gun Saber Finisher:
  • Fury Drive/Slash (Swordman): Using the Soul Gun Saber in Double Blade Mode, Ghost creates a second set of energy blades for him to attack the enemy with.

Electro Spirit is Phantom Warrior's yellow electricity-based form themed after Thomas Edison, the famed American inventor whose most notable and remembered contribution to history was his creation of the first commercially successful electric lightbulb. Accessed through the Electro Eye-Soul, this form bears the Persona Inventor helmet with the Face Lightbulb faceplate.

While assuming Electro Spirit, Phantom Warrior dons the Sparking Hood adorned with the Filament Shaft where he is able to conduct electricity and use it to charge up his Soul Gun Saber in its Gun Mode for electricity-based shooting attacks, as well as "spark" some thought into Phantom Warrior whenever the Sparking Hood receives electrical stimuli.

This Spirit has two finishing attacks.

• Phantom Driver Finisher:
  • Fury Drive (Electro): Phantom Warrior levitates and charges his signature eye symbol with electricity before absorbing the construct and launching himself at the opponent with a flying kick.
• Soul Gun Saber Finisher:
  • Fury Shooting: In Gun Mode, Phantom Warrior charges energy into the muzzle of his weapon before unleashing a powerful shot. If this finisher is used while in Electro Spirit, it can be enhanced with electrical energy.

Archer Spirit

Archer Spirit is Phantom Warrior's green archer-based form themed after Robin Hood, a legendary outlaw whom historians have debated the existence of but has been popularized in fictional literature and pop culture. Accessed through the Archer Eye-Soul, this form bears the Persona Archer helmet with the Face Shoot Arrow faceplate.

While assuming Archer Spirit, Phantom Warrior dons the Verdant Hood adorned with the Clairvoyance Feather where he is able to combine the Condor Telephone Phantom Gadget with his Soul Gan Saber to create its Arrow Mode for him to use archery-based attacks with great effect.

In terms of overall stats, Archer Spirit is Phantom Warrior's most balanced form after Phantom Spirit, being slightly weaker than Swordsman Spirit, but with an overall increase in running speed, serving as a better substitute for Phantom Spirit.

• Phantom Driver Finisher:
  • Fury Drive (Archer): Phantom Warrior creates duplicates of himself and uses the Sou; Gun Saber in Arrow Mode to fire arrows at the target.
• Soul Gun Saber Finisher:
  • Fury Strike: In Arrow Mode, Phantom Warrior pulls on the energized "bowstring" of his weapon which makes an array appear to shield him from incoming attacks. Once charged, Phantom Warrior lets the energized arrow fly and pierce its target with great force.
• Phantom Driver + Soul Gun Saber Finisher:
  • Fury Drive/Strike (Archer): Using the Soul Gun Saber in Arrow Mode, Phantom Warrior creates duplicates of himself so that they can all fire arrows at the target.

Accessed through the Gravity Eye-Soul, this form bears the Persona Dynamics helmet with the Face Fall Apple faceplate.

While assuming Gravity, Phantom Warrior dons the Discovery Hood where he is armed with a pair of orb-like gloves that allows him to generate gravitational pulses for either knocking back enemies or weighing them down with crushing force. Alternatively, Phantom Warrior can instead use his gravity orbs as makeshift boxing gloves to deliver powerful punches.

Accessed through the Music Eye-Soul, this form bears the Persona Composer helmet with the Face Music Score faceplate.

While assuming Music Spirit, Phantom Warrior dons the Symphony Hood. Phantom Warrior also wears the Concerto Coat, where he is able to create energy constructs of musical notes through sound by pressing the 'piano keys', and manipulate them in a manner similar to how a conductor controls an orchestra via hand gestures.

Accessed through the Western Eye-Soul, this form bears the Persona Gunslinger helmet with the Face Revolver faceplate.

While assuming Western Spirit, Phantom Warrior dons the Gunshot Hood adorned with the Quick Draw Hat where he is able to utilize his Gan Gun Saber and the Bat Clock Phantom Gadget for shooting-based attacks by either wielding them in their Gun Modes or combining them to create the Soul Gun Saber's Rifle Mode.

Warrior Spirit is Phantom Warrior's white warrior monk-based form themed after Benkei, a giant of a sōhei who became infamous for positioning himself at a bridge and collected the swords of passing swordsmen, collecting 999 blades before being finally defeated by Minamoto no Yoshitsune, and loyally followed him through the Gunpei War and their time as outlaws following Yoshitsune's brother Yoritomo's treachery. Benkei died during the Battle of Komoro River, though in doing so cemented his place in history by killing an estimated 300 men of the 500 sent to kill them and died standing. Accessed through the Warrior Eye-Soul, this form bears the Persona Warrior Monk helmet with the Face Seven Arms faceplate.

While assuming Warrior Spirit, Phantom Warrior dons the Soshu Hood adorned with the Plating of Loyalty where he is able to combine the Spider Lantern Phantom, Gadget with his Soul Gun Saber to create its Hammer Mode.

Blank (Fighting Booster Version

While transforming into Fighting Booster Spirit, Ghost's Transient form upgrades into a red color with black fiery details on it, and the emblem on his chest becomes embossed in silver. This Transient form remains as it is when assuming a Phantom Change from Fighting Booster Spirit.

Fighting Booster's Blank is made from Quantum Solid, but due to the immense thermal energy developed by Fighting Booster Spirit, it has been discolored red.

Fighting Booster Spirit

Though accurate historical accounts of his life are scarce, many folk legends are told based on his supposed exploits and are reenacted in classic kabuki theater plays, thus making him a prominent figure in modern Japanese pop culture. Accessed through the Ninja Eye-Soul, this form bears the Persona Superstar helmet with the Face Kumadori faceplate.

While assuming Ninja Spirit, Phantom Warrior dons the Great Byaku Head and the Magnificent Hood.

While using Ninja Spirit, Venk's speed and reflexes are enhanced to the point of being able to evade the Devil Katana's Swallow Blade with ease.

This led to the Meiji Restoration which changed Japan's government to that of a peaceful constitutional monarchy instead of one ruled by an Imperial shogunate family through war and conquest, though Ryoma's assassination prevented him from seeing his work. Accessed through the Samurai Eye-Soul, this form bears the Persona Dreamer helmet with the Face Dragon Head faceplate.

While assuming Samurai Spirit, Phantom Warrior dons the Ishin Horns and the Exciting Hood.

This form has two finishers:

• Booster Slasher finisher:
  • Mega Fury Blaze: In Blaster Mode, Phantom Warrior channels the energy of a normal Eye-Soul and the Fighting Booster Eye-Soul in his Booster Slasher and delivers a powerful blast.
    • Phantom and Fighting Booster: The barrel is enshrouded by vermillion flames that then travel to the muzzle to allow a white-hot stream of fire that takes the form of a flaming dragon.

Accessed through the Royal Eye-Soul, this form bears the Persona Shaman helmet with the Face Magatama faceplate.

While assuming Royal Spirit, Phantom Warrior dons the Head Coronet and the Kido Hood.

Using Royal Spirit, Phantom Warrior gains magic-based powers. This form has been shown to disperse the magnetic fog given off by Devil Knife.

Blank

Blank is the default pre-form armor of Kamen Rider Phantom Warrior. Like most pre-forms in the Kamen Rider Series, it is weaker than all of the other forms and exists solely as a transition stage of the armor to any given Spirit form. It is made up of a substance called Quantum Gazer, which through an unknown process turns emotion into power.

While transforming into Angelic Spirit, Phantom Warrior's Blank form upgrades into an angelic white-colored armored form, gaining additional vest-like armor around the upper-torso section, with infinity symbol and metal flake accents on it. This Blank form is only briefly seen during the transformation before the Angelic Parka Spirit fuses onto it.

Angelic Spirit

The Angelic Eye-Soul was created by the strong feelings of Venk's seven friends: Rey, Alan, and the Ghost Hunter. Thanks to this, he transforms into Kamen Rider Phantom Warrior Angelic Spirit. This form is the embodiment of his friends' emotions and has a multitude of emotion-based attacks. This is the only form of Phantom Warrior's that can permanently destroy the Eye-Leaders.

This form has also demonstrated absurd defenses similar to Ringzard's Infinity Style, easily tanking attacks from even the Eye-Leaders.

Gifted with strength from the Heroic Eye-Souls and his friends, Phantom Warrior gains the power of flight by using the Rainbow Angelic's Sigil.

This Spirit has eight finishing attacks.

• Phantom Driver Finisher:
  • God Fury Drive (Angelic): Phantom Warrior performs a Rider Kick imbued with the emotion power of his 7 friends that manifest together as rainbow-colored energy. In its first use, Phantom Warrior absorbs the attacks from a Eye-Leader to cover his arm in rainbow energy to deliver a Rider Punch powerful enough to destroy it permanently.
• Phantom Driver + Soul Gun Saber Finishers:
  • Delight Stream: Using the Soul Gun Saber in Double Blade Mode, Phantom Warrior charges each weapon's bladed end with swirling yellow energy before he presses the trigger on its handle to rapidly slash the target with both blades in the form of an Infinity Symbol. An upgrade version of the Fury Stream.
  • Excitement Strike: Using the Soul Gun Saber in Arrow Mode, Phantom Warrior pulls on the energized "bowstring" of his weapon which makes an array appear to shield him from incoming attacks. Once charged, Phantom Warrior lets the energized orange arrow fly and pierce its target with great force in the form of an Infinity Symbol. An upgrade version of the Fury Strike.
  • Faith Discharge: Using the Soul Gun Saber in Rifle Mode, Phantom Warrior charges a green energy bullet as the Bat Clock winds its clock and projects an energy construct of a scope lens to lock on to the target.   • Fearless Shooting: Using the Soul Gun Saber in Gun Mode, Phantom Warrior charges energy into the muzzle of his weapon before unleashing a powerful purple shot. An upgrade version of the Fury Shooting.
  • Rage Slash: Using the Soul Gun Saber in Twin Sword Mode, Phantom Warrior batters the opponent with his weapon's blades as they charge up red energy before he presses the trigger on its handle when he's in position to cut down the opponent to make the charge be expelled upon the last hit. An upgrade version of the Fury Slash.
  • Misery Break: Using the Soul Gun Saber in Blade Mode, Phantom Warrior charges the blade with swirling blue energy before he presses the trigger on its handle to cleave through the target. An upgrade version of the Fury Break.
  • Love Clash: Using the Soul Gun Saber in Hammer Mode, Phantom Warrior charges white energy to the Spider Lantern, then slams the weapon on the ground, generating energy constructs shaped like a Heart, which are then flung at the opponent. It is presumably to be the strongest emotional finisher out of them all. An upgrade version of the Fury Clash.

Earth Spirit

Earth Spirit is Phantom Warrior's orange geologist-based form themed after Charles Darwin, best known for his contributions to evolutionary theory. He established that all species of life have descended over time from common ancestors, and in a joint publication with Alfred Russel Wallace introduced his scientific theory that this branching pattern of evolution resulted from a process that he called natural selection, in which the struggle for existence has a similar effect to the artificial selection involved in selective breeding.

Trinity Spirit

Trinity Spirit is Phantom Warrior's gold Zen Buddhist monk-based final form, the evolved form of Gunslinger Spirit, themed after Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu. Accessed through the Trinity Eye-Soul (Gunslinger Eye-Soul's true form), this form bears a currently unknown helmet with a currently unknown faceplate.

In this form, Phantom Warrior is able to unite the powers of himself, Phantasm Fighter, and Dominate Fury, granting him the ability to use all of their weapons. Furthermore, this permanently surpasses the powerful stats of Mugen Damashii.

Armor Warrior Spirit is a Legend Rider form based on Kamen Rider Armor Warrior's Orange Arms. Kamen Spirit is a Legend Rider form based on the main Kamen Riders. Accessed through the Kamen Rider side of the Masked/Kamen Rider Eye-Soul, this form bears a currently unknown helmet with a currently unknown faceplate.

This form bears a great resemblance to Phantom Warrior's Heroic Spirit. Indeed, it combines the power of the Kamen Riders in a similar manner to Heroic Spirit's combination of the 15 heroes, as well as giving Phantom Warrior actual optics. However, the obvious difference is that Kamen Spirit is accessed through a simple Eye-Soul as opposed to the Heroic Spirit which is accessed through an Eye-Soul Driver, thus Phantom Warrior retains his original Phantom Driver in this form, as well as the undersuit and, while he wields the combined power of his 16 Kamen Riders predecessors, he lacks Heroic's power of summoning the Parka Spirits to fight alongside him as bodies. However, he is able to channel the Riders' powers to enhance his fighting styles:

Blank

Blank is the default pre-form armor of Kamen Rider Phantom Warrior. Like most pre-forms in the Kamen Rider Series, it is weaker than all of the other forms and exists solely as a transition stage of the armor to any given Spirit form.

While transforming into Heroic Spirit, Phantom Warrior's Blank form upgrades into a black-colored armored form with gold accents on it. This Blank form is only briefly seen during the transformation before all the Parka Spirits fuse onto it.

Heroic Spirit is Phantom Warrior's super form, accessed via the Eye-Soul Driver P, which provides its own Blank suit for Phantom Warrior. Upon completion of the body's transformation, the Persona Grandeur with the Face Grandeur soon manifests afterwards.

Heroic Spirit's special ability allows Phantom Warrior to summon any of the 15 Parka Spirits with their respective weapons during their time as part of a Spirit form to help him in battle by using the Eye-Soul Driver P.

Venk can switch from his Eye-Soul Driver P back to his Phantom Driver for different form changes while still transformed as Heroic Spirit (in this episode's case, Angelic Spirit).

This form has three known finishers:

• The first is a basic Heroic Fury Drive finisher which can be performed when Phantom Warrior summons the Spirits of the 15 Heroic Eye-Souls and they all appear behind the Phantom Warrior symbol before combining into a powerful fire ball for Phantom Warrior to use to defeat the enemy with a flying kick. It can also be used as a flying kick that uses spiritual energy which makes the body and mask of Phantom Warrior's form glow and envelops him in a gold flame. It can also be used as a slash attack with the Soul Gun Saber in Blade Mode and the Booster Slasher in Sword Mode.
• The second is known as the Fury Formation, which can be performed by summoning any one of the 15 Parka Spirits.
  • Fury Formation (Archer and Ninja): Phantom Warrior performs a shooting attack, alongside the Archer Parka Spirit, with the Soul Gun Saber in Arrow Mode and a slash attack, alongside the Ninja Parka Spirit, with the Booster Slasher in Sword Mode.
  • Fury Formation (Samurai and Royal): Phantom Warrior performs a slash attack with the Soul Gun Saber in Blade Mode and the Booster Slasher in Sword Mode, the Royal Parka Spirit performs a slash attack with the Soul Gun Saber in Double Blade Mode and the Samurai Parka Spirit performs a shooting attack with the Booster Slasher in Blaster Mode.
  • Fury Formation (Swordsman and Electro): Phantom Warrior performs a flying kick, the Swordsman Parka Spirit performs a slash attack with the Soul Gun Saber in Twin Sword Mode and the Electro Parka Spirit performs a shooting attack with the Soul Gun Saber in Gun Mode. Phantom Warrior attempted to use this finisher on Devil Electricity and Devil Book but the Grimm brothers couldn't cooperate and their emblem disappeared.
• The third is known as the Mega Fury Formation, which can be performed when Phantom Warrior summons the Spirits of the 15 Heroic Eye-Souls and they all appear behind the Phantom Warrior symbol, then, Ghost launching a more powerful Heroic Fury Drive empowered by the 15 Heroic Spirits to defeat the enemy.
